Bhopal, Mar 1:
Everybody enjoy early morning hours' most pleasant sleep and sweet dreams. But as soon as the alarm rings suddenly eyes become red, body reluctant to come out of bed and galloping hands of clock reminds of office and daily routine duties, in result heart beat and blood pressure increase. This is common starting of the day for us and we carry the bundle of worries and burdens till late midnight. As this way life goes one in stress. In the fight of daily routine life we forgot to widen our lips to smile, said Mukul Kanitakar, regional head of Vivekananda Centre.
Kanitakar was addressing on the concluding function of the four-day long Swanand Yoga workshop organised by the Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC) Officers' Welfare Association at OBC campus on Saturday to overcome on unbearable stress of personal and professional life.
During the four-day long workshop Kanitkar taught various types of Yoga, its significance, nature and how it helps to over come on stress. In the little span of time he taught breathing related Yoga, which are easy to learn in the initial stages and helpful to robust body, mind and heart to over come on stress.
While discussing how to overcome on the anger he said that during the conflict situation, most of the times mind is out of control. Yet one exercise can be helpful in such situation. 'Whatever we want to say, pronounce in low tone and slow speech, it will make humour out of it and intensity of anger will be decreased'.
He emphasised on the heavenly generated feeling of sacrifice. Until and unless people have the feeling of sacrifice no power can rule that society or nation. When the feeling of sacrifice dry away that is sign of demolition of society. He quoted the example of human body cell. Until and unless the cells of body are ready to sacrifice, body functioning goes smoothly. When the cells retain to live longer, it causes fatal disease cancer, which is dangerous for the existence for the body. It happens with the society.
While talking about the youth he said that new generation is becoming bankrupt in the sense of our traditional values and customs. It is a fault on the part of elders, as they are not passing on the legacy of our culture to next generation.
Balbir Singh founder member of OBC officers' association said that this workshop helped a lot for us to maintain good health. He added that they would organise such kind of workshop in between.
