Bhopal, Feb 29: Senior National Bench Press Championship was organised from February 22 to 24 in Mumbai. Devendra Singh of Bhopal represented the Madhya Pradesh team. He bagged branze medal in senior group of 60-Kg weight in the championship. He has also been qualified for the Senior World International Bench Press Championship, which would be organised in the month of May 2008 in Check Republic.

Devendra Singh would represent the Indian Team in International Championship. Coach Sanjay Saxena, Ashok Vishwakarma, Devendra Nahar, Sazi Wargis, Praveenaya Yarepude, Jitendra Jaiswal, Dilip Sharma, Sunil Kishore and others congratulated Devendra Singh for his achievement.
