Smoke bomb explodes, one killed 

Bhopal, Feb 22: A bomb explosion at a scrap selling dealer's shop in New Kabadkhana, Bhopal led to the death of a youth today. The explosion also caused serious injuries to four people including a woman. The explosion occurred when the brass from a defused bomb of the Army was being removed at the shop.

According to Circle Superintendent of Police, Amit Singh, Pyare Miya runs a shop in New Kabadkhana where he buys scrap. In his shop, Siddarth (25), resident of Sikhi Sewaniya worked as a helper.

On Friday, Siddarth was using hammer to extract brass from the defused bomb (smoke bomb) of Army. While doing so, the bomb blew off killing Siddarth on the spot.

Meanwhile, owner of the shop Pyarei Miya, Lalitabai, a resident of Gandhinagar, Rafiq & Wasim of Kaji camp who had come to sell off scrap were injured in the blast. They were admitted in the Hamidia Hospital where their condition is stated to be critical.
