Corporation, Board employees oppose proposed decision

Bhopal, Feb 11: The president of Madhya Pradesh Corporation Board Employees Officers Coordination Federation Ajay Shrivastava, working president Anil Bajpai, Hemant Kapoor, General Secretary Chandra Shekhar Parsai and Gajendra Singh Kothari opposed the decision for closing public undertakings.

The leaders of the Federation said that Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan declared at the convention of the federation, on May 9, 2007 that any corporation would not be closed but another Minister recommended in contradiction to the Chief Minister's declaration.

The leaders said that review of the corporation board should be done by experts and there is need to know what is the region that the corporation board is running in loss. They said that action should be taken against accused regarding this matter.

Corporations and Boards are tapped by the politicians. Government of Madhya Pradesh issued order that any chairman of the corporation and board would use more facilities than approved facilities, they would be declared ineligibility. Apart from this, a representative of employees should be nominated in Board of Directors as per the order of government. Except Poultry Department, anyone representative has not been nominated in Board of Directors in boards and corporations. Leaders said that federation would organise seminar soon related proposals.
