Bhopal, Feb 6: The 45th National Roller Skating Championship was organised under the Roller Skating Federation of India from January 28 to 31 at Vishakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh). Kanupriya Awasthy, players of Amar Roller Skating Organisation and student of Carmel Convent Senior Secondary School represented in Madhya Pradesh Team. She bagged two gold medals in Ring Race II and Road Race I.

It is the first time that player of the city bagged two gold medals in National Roller Skating Championship. Apart from this, Tanay Agrawal, Kriti Batni, Rashabh Sharma, Somesh Shrivas, Gunjeet Marwah, Rashabh Singh, Dignesh Kumar, Prashant Tekam, Sandeep Sidam, Pankaj Bhojwani, Anand Singh, Srishti Gupta, Punyesha Khandelwal put up excellent performance in the championship. All the children were welcomed at the Railway Station.

All the players are getting training from the Skating Coach of Arjun Fitness Club Amar Bhatkar regularly. Jitendra Jaiswal (Body Temple Gym), Rajeev Saxena, Pradeep Hedau (Arjun Fitness Club), Ajay Jaiswal, Suraj Khan, Surendra Batham and others congratulated them for their excellent performance.

Bhopal, Feb 6: Sumit Taneja, student of Indira Priyadarshini College put up excellent performance in West Region Inter University Cricket Tournament and scored 400 runs. Under this tournament, around 44 teams of various several states took part. As a result he was selected in West Region University Cricket Tournament by the Board of Cricket Control of India (BCCI).

The secretary of Managing Committee of Priyadarshini College Arif Masud felicitated Sumit Taneja and expressed his happiness for the achievement.
