RGY: Transparency needed: Remove vested interests

National Gramin Rojgar Guarantee Yojna would be implemented in the whole of state from April 1,2008. At present it is being implemented in 31 districts of the state. Preparations are going on to implement it in remaining 17 districts. It is noticeable that it was implemented in 18 districts on February 2,2006. In April 2007 in the second phase it was again implemented in 13 districts. After implementing this scheme the migration of labourers on a large scale could be checked. The labourers wondering in search of work would be provided employment for 100 days which would help them to some extent. But, implementing of this Yojna it is necessary to follow process and fixed standards. Several related complaints have come into light that same persons take advantage of Yojna in guise of two or three names. At several places decided wages are not given or delayed. Though the state ranks first in implementing this Yojna but it is also not beyond the fact that irregularities were also found at several places in its implementation. The state used the amount received from centre under the head of this scheme and better results are also reported but paying attention over the related complaints is also necessary. The determined criteria should also be followed to provide this employment. Along with this its implementation should be made in better way then the real beneficiaries could take its advantage. Only a same person could not take its double advantage. Dedication, devotion, honesty and commitment is needed for the same. Regular monitoring is also necessary for this work.
