`Machh Gaya Shore, Har Taraf Kishor' concert rocks Indore 

Indore, Feb 4: Cashing in on the popularity of Sony's TV immensely popular musical show - K for Kishore which has reached its decision stage, the Sony television channel has decided to 9take the show to the people in various cities in India and hold concert in the memory of the legendary singer late Kishore Kumar.

After receiving an overwhelming response in Kolkata, the Sony television organized its second concert -`Machh Gaya Shor, Har Taraf Kishore' in Indore on Monday wherein the fresh lot of challengers from K For Kishore --- Chetan Rana, Chintan Batliwala, (a native of Indore), Miling Ingle and Suhas Sawant regaled the audiences with Kishore Kumar's golden memories. The concert organized at Anand Mohan Mathur auditorium, was judged by celebrity judges like Bappi Laheri, Amit Kumar, Sudesh Bhosle.

Both the judges and the participants of the show who were in the city on Monday, earlier interacted with the media persons and talked about the responses that the K For Kishore show has received from all-over the country. Playback singer Amit Kumar, who is one of the celebrity judges of the show, talking to this newspaper, said that his visit to Madhya Pradesh and Indore always makes him nostalgic as Khandwa in Madhya Pradesh happened to be the birth place of his father late Kishore Kumar.

Being a part of this show organized as a tribute to the legendary singer called Kishore Kumar, is an honour to me and I feel proud to be associated with this show, Amit said adding that he along with the other judges was very much enjoying the show seeing the young talents.

Sudesh Bhosle, another judge of K For Kishore, owed his existence in the film industry to Kishore Kumar and his son Amit Kumar. Though I did not find myself in the same league of Bappi Lahari and Amit Kumar, nevertheless I feel honoured being as one of the judges of the show being organized in the memory of Kishore Da, Sudesh said adding that he had no hesitation to say that he ekes out his living in the film industry only because of Kishore Da and his son Amit Kumar.

Bappi Lahiri, another judge of this popular musical show and who made Kishore Da sing more than 200 songs for him, shared some of very poignant and beautiful memories he had of the legendary singer. I have participated in various talent hunt show but the musical show K For Kishore being aired on Sony television channel, is undoubtedly one of the best, Bappi Da said while talking about the show.

Replying to a question Bappi Da said that notwithstanding new singing talents come into the film industry, the magic of Kishore Kumar era will remain for ever. Talking about his charisma and agelessness, he said it was basically because of his happy go lucky nature. I follow the legendary film actor Dev Anand and feel myself young at heart and this is the real mantra of my agelessness, the evergreen Bappi Da said.

Babul Suprio, the show host, also shared his experiences about the show as well as his memories about Kishore Da, who was to him like a Dronacharya. Babul said that show is not aimed at identifying the copy cat of Kishore Da, rather identity those singing talents who can create the magic of Kishore Kumar in his singing.
