Deendayal mobile clinics treat 10000 patients daily

Bhopal, Feb 5: Deendayal mobile clinics in operation in 86 blocks of the state are everyday treating 10,062 patients on an average. Till the last month these mobile clinics have treated 8.42 lakh patients. These clinics have checked the health of one lakh 90 thousand pregnant women also.

Every mobile hospital during the tour of rural areas treat 117 patients daily on an average. Qualitative medical services are being extended to the people by these mobile clinics in remote the districts dominated by scheduled caste and schedule tribe people. It has been ensured through these mobile clinics that free and qualitative medical services are provided to the people belonging to poor and BPL families belonging to scheduled castes and scheduled tribes at their doorsteps.

Apart from treatment and medical consultation these mobile clinics are also providing useful information about family planning to the people. Medicines are being distributed and vaccination is being performed by the staff deployed with the mobile clinics. The mobile clinics are also checking the health of growing girls and giving useful sex-related information to them.

Another important work being done by the mobile clinics is collection of blood samples for malaria and TB check-up.
