Tug-of-war, other competitions organised

Bhopal feb 4: On the birth centenary of martyr Bhagat Singh.'Youth Summit' was organised at Subhash School ground, where students were enjoying with enthusiasm. Some bodies were busy in showing their skill of sports while some were busy in performing the fun. Youths of city assembled in large numbers at the function. This summit started at 10 a.m. and came to an end by 7 p.m. Many competitions were organised for the youths, as group song, dance ball and tug-of-war etc. about 1500 youths were participated in the summit.

Exhibition of martyrs depicted

At the main canopy an exhibition of martyrs leaders and warriors was depicted beautifully.It include Swami Vivekananda, Maharshi Thhakkar Bappa, Sant Hirdaram, Guru Govind Singh, Jyotiba Phule, Tilka Manjhi, Amar Singh Rathore, Tatya Tope, Swami Ramtirth, Virsa Munda and Jeeja Bai etc.

Welcomed with tilak

Participating youths including those who were present on the occasion were welcomed by tilak the ancient tradition of Indian culture. Organised said on the occasion that every youth of India is a diamond.

Azeem wins carom championship

Bhopal, Feb 4: Late Banne Pehelwan Memorial carom Championship which was organised at Sanjay Carrom centre has been won by Azeem. He was awarded with cash prize and a shield.

In the prize distribution ceremony, Rafiq Quereshi was the Chief Guest. The organiser of the championship was Bholu Pehelwan.

Aasif stood second in the championship. He was awarded with cash prize and a shield.

On this occasion, Shafiq Bhai, Allah Baksh, Chand Bhai, Shabban Bhai, Bhura Bhai, Sohail, Rashid Azeem, Amjad, Omprasad, Maganlal Jhanjhot, Vijay Shankar, Shravan, Afsar Qureshi and Aslam Qureshi were present.
