Bhopal, Feb 4: Dance Festival was organised under the aegis of Rashtriya Pratibha Samman Manch, BHEL Bhopal at Community Hall, Piplani, which has been organising since last 15 years. The programme was inaugurated by the General Manager of BHEL, Bhopal Vijay Joshi by lighting traditional lamp in the presence of the President of BHCNIS Chandrakant Shreekhand (as special guest). The Chairman of National Institute of Technical Teachers' Training and Research (NITTTR) Dr Mahendra Singh Chauhan presided over the programme.

The president of the organisation MB Khan delivered inaugural speech and welcomed all the guests and present audience. He informed about the various activities of the organisation and also threw lights on it. On the occasion, Aruneshwar Singh Dev and Shafkat Mohammad Khan who gave excellent contribution in sports sector were felicitated. Carmen Convent Senior Secondary School, St John, Pragatisheel, Ideal, Vivekanand School, Haryana Samaj and Natraj Dance Academy took part in the dance festival and they put up excellent performance.

Painting competition was organised under the aegis of Rastriya Pratibha Samman Manch on January 13, 2007 at Kamla Nehru Children Park and the successful participants of the painting competition were also felicitated on this occasion by presenting prizes. Sheel Chandra Jain, former Principal of Kamla Nehru Government Girls Higher Secondary School, TT Nagar, Ms Veena Jain and Shirish Joshi were the judges of the panel.

In the group A, Aditi Ramani, Ashutosh Shrivastava bagged first prize, Ojswani Kalbhor, Shyam Bishwas bagged second prize, Samriddhi Bajpayee, Priya Chatwal bagged third prize and six consolation prizes were distributed. In the group B, Prakriti Khare bagged first prize, Ishita Pal bagged second prize, Hiba Khan and Akriti Jain bagged third prize and six consolation prizes were distributed among the participants.

In the group C, Shurbhi Lodh bagged first prize, Suyash Mishra, Keshav Agrawal bagged second position, Ansul Rathore bagged third prize and five consolation prizes were distributed among participants. Many others prizes were distributed among the successful participants. The programme was conducted by Satsangi, Ms T Mahalingam, and Shivli Khan, JK Vadhwa, secretary of BHEL Managing Committee, Cultural Hall expressed gratitude to all for the programme concluded successfully.
