Bhopal, Feb 3: After lying low, chain snatcher gang struck back on Sunday in Habibganj locality. According to police, Asha (60) a resident of E-3, Arera Colony lost her gold chain when a motorbike rider snatched chain near Vaishnav Bhavan at around 12:30 noon. Asha was striked by the motorbike rider while she was alighting from her vehicle to attend one marriage ceremony.

The value of lost chain is estimated to be around Rs 10,000, police added. Police have registered cases against the unknown miscreants and are looking for the culprits.

Women arrested

The Bairagarh Police on Sunday arrested four women and two men for gambling. The Police arrested gamblers Heerabai, Mayabai, Ashabai, Bhavnabai, Kamlesh and Nandkumar near Shiv Mandir and seized Rs 4,300 cash and playing cards.
