Hail affects crops: Help the affected farmers 

Effect of biting cold is continuing in the state. Amidst winter season mercury sometimes dips while sometimes it goes up and affecting health of the people on one hand while its effect is also damaging crops. It is noticeable that this year drought, scanty rainfall and rains at some places had damaged the rabi crop. Remaining crop were eaten up by the caterpillars. The farmers of the state have to face effect of weather due to scorching heat at some places. In such conditions the farmers are facing loss. The farmers have not got compensation of drought and scanty rainfall hit crops moreover they had to face this bolt from the blue. Crops have been damaged in Bhopal, Sagar, Hoshangabad, Jabalpur and other divisions where hail hit them. The situation has become adverse as the farmers are facing continuous loss. Their investment has gone a waste and the farmers who had taken loans are in deep trouble. Keeping in view the pain of the farmers they should be given relief soon. The assessment of the loss of farmers should be made soon and relief provided to the farmers. Any further delay would make their conditions only worse. As they are facing continuous loss. In such condition their problems can be guessed easily. It is time that the government understands the pain of the farmers. In such conditions efforts to give them relief for their loss should be made instantly.
