Bhopal, Jan 31: Mayor Trophy 8-A Hockey Championship would be organised under the aegis of Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) from February 7 to 12, 2008 at Central Library Ground. It was informed by the President of Mayor Trophy Organising Committee Mohammad Shamim and convenor Ms Mahira Salamuddin here. They said that the cash award of Rs 10000 and trophy would be given to the winner team and Rs 5000 and trophy would be given to the sub-winner team. Apart from this, the team who would secure third position in the championship the team would be given cash award of Rs 2500 and trophy.

The team of CPMG, West Central Railway, Sports Authority of India Eleven, University, Jawarlal Nehru College, BHEL, State Bank of India, BMC, EMI Centre, Bairagarh, etc have been invited to taking part in the championship.
