Karate meet held at St George School

Bhopal, Jan 31: All the students of St George Residential School shared their happiness with each other with zeal through the Annual Function of the school. Students presented colourful cultural programme as well as martial art. The Retired DGP SP Singh was the chief guest of the programme and he encouraged them.

Rohit said that I am very glad to take part in annual function and also enjoyed there. We can feel happiness through such king of activities and it should be organised regularly. Rahul said that the programme was very good and we can get knowledge about the Indian cultural and tradition through such kind of activities. Minal said that I am also very glad to attend the programme and I could not forget the annual day function.

Tennis Ball Cricket Tournament concludes

Bhopal, Jan 31: Late Deepak Nagar Memorial Tennis Ball Cricket Tournament was organised under the aegis of Yuva Vikas Kendra, Hinautia Sadak. President of District Panchayat Lakhan Singh Meena, Prem Singh Solanki, Avnish Bhargava and others were present. Meena distributed cash award of Rs 1100 to the both teams for encouragement among the players.

The cheque of Rs 5000 was given to the winner team and cheque of Rs 2000 was given to the sub-winner team and trophies were also distributed among them by the Yuva Vikas Kendra. Man of the series and Man of the Match were given to Sanjay Nagar and Dada Bhai respectively. Village Arvaliya took first batting and scored 80 runs and won the match. Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat Shersingh Ahirwar, Ramesh Prasad Sharma, Gopilal Nagar, and large number of eminent personalities were also present.

Around 32 teams took part in the tournament, Organiser Hemant Kumar Nagar expressed to all the teams for taking part in the tournament. Coordinator of Nehru Yuva Kendra Shrikant Pandey also expressed to the youths for organising such kind of successful event.
