Pledge to save environment 

Bhopal Today Team

Bhopal, Jan 31: With the increasing need of gas and oil, it becomes necessary to save these vital resources. Keeping this in mind a quiz competition was organised at the State Museum. Indian Oil, Bharat Gas, GAIL, P.C.R.A and B.P.C.L were the sponsors and their motive was to spread awareness about natural gas and oil among students. Six schools participated in the competition. They were divided into six teams and total six rounds were there each containing 10-mark question. There was passing question also with bonus of 5-mark and for each answer was decided. From every team two students represented.

Participating schools

Campion School represented as Team-A, Team-B Anand Vihar School, Team-C Jawahar Nehru School, Team-D Saint Joseph School, Team-E Saint Paul, and Team-F Kendriya Vidyalay.

Participation certificate was given to every participant and trophy will be given to the winning teams. Audience who answered the passing question were also given certificates.

Competitors say

Vikalp from Kendriya Vidyalya told that competition was bit tough. Even then I liked to participate in the competition.

Vaibhav says competition was interesting. We are happy competitions like these are organised for us.

Anand thinks oil and gas is one of the important issues today. Including students in debate over topics like this is good. This actually encourages us and there should be more competitions like this.

Amber Khan says that in competitions like this you get to learn many things.
