Four awards to MP

Bhopal, Jan 13: Association of Business Communicator of India (ABCI) at its 47th award ceremony gave away three gold medals and a bronze medal to Madhya Pradesh apart from Special Golden Trophy. These awards were received by Madhya Pradesh Public Relations Minister Shri Laxmikant Sharma at a function at Mumbai recently. It may be mentioned that these awards command such great respect as Oscar Awards in the field of communications.

Registration of properties campaign by Madhya Pradesh Madhyam was awarded gold medal in the category of 'discharge of social responsibilities'. The advertisement has been released by Madhya Pradesh Madhyam on behalf of state Commercial Tax Department. In the category of short film also Madhya Pradesh Madhyam was adjudged first and awarded gold medal for the short film titled 'Destination Madhya Pradesh'. In the prestigious publication category was also bagged in the shape of gold medal by Vanya Prakashan of Madhya Pradesh while 'Sinhastha Madhya Pradesh' published by Madhya Pradesh Madhyam received bronze medal.

On this occasion, Public Relations Minister Sharma said that ABCI's efforts for creating expertise in the field of communications and publications are commendable. He said that Madhya Pradesh government has been honouring talented persons of every creative field. The awards given away by Madhya Pradesh are seen with respect all over the world. It was a matter of great pleasure that this time round, institutions of Madhya Pradesh including Public Relations, Madhya Pradesh Madhyam and Vanya Prakashan have been awarded and nominated in several categories. These awards are really filling us with satisfaction and enthusiasm. He said that the heritages of Madhya Pradesh are centuries-old and such programmes as Simhastha are held in the state.
