Bonanza to State staff: Implement Govt directives

The state government, keeping in view Mission-2008 has made several announcements for the betterment of its employees. The Government has removed the service break which was a great hurdle in regularisation of daily wages employees, whereas it has also announced to remove the 9% difference as regards the DA, before August. According to the Finance Minister, this difference would be made up in two phases. The state government, taking note of resentment among the employees and election year also made 17 announcements. Around 5 lakh state government employees would get benefit with these announcements. It may be noted that the Mantralaya employees had threatened to go on strike from Friday. Similarly, the state government has rejected service break of 2001-2004 which was a hurdle in regularisation of employees. But doubtful situation is for the 225 daily wage employees of Mantralaya. The government should reconsider over the present disparities so that all the employees avail same facilities. Similarly, around 4,000 Gurujis are getting honorarium of Rs 1000 due to the disparity. Now, the government has ordered to remove these disparities. Washing allowance of class four employees has also been increased. In last years due to the temporary nature of the state Public Service Commission the candidates had passed their age limit. Now, such candidates would get the benefit of relief in age limit by three more years. Process of compassionate appointment has also been made simple. If the applicant has desire to work as teacher, or contract teacher, then he can apply directly to the Collector in this connection. Collector would solve his problem within a month and give appointment. In connection of Brahmaswaroop Committee those departments which have not changed rules, would have to comply within this month. Around 80,000 health department employees would get benefits. The state government has, almost given something to every department. But even today there is suspicion in some matters, which should be sorted out. Now these announcements should be implemented effectively so that no resentment emerges in the near future.
