Indian electronic media is professing the trodden path of western culture so electric medial and Indian society are two different streams. It will not be wrong to say that electric media is hampering the Indian culture said Murlidhar Oza, student of Nutan Subhash School while making his point in a debate competition.
DAV School, Jawahar square organised a state level Sharda Devi Raghav Memorial debate competition on Friday. 'In the view of house whether Westernisation of electronic media and film are hampering the Indian culture'. In this competition besides the city based school 8 other schools participated in it.
Speaking in the favour of subject Anuj Jain student of Excellence School, Sehore said that whatever is shown in the media and in the films is irrelevant to our family system as well as society. Under the name of liberty and openness media and films are leading our society in wrong direction. Meanwhile speaking on against side of subject Ankit Chauhan said that medial is playing its role and film are showing whatever happens in our society. The concept of good and bad lies in the audience's mind. The faultfinders can find fault in any object without any exception.
The programme was started with the Saraswati Vandana. The programme was presided over by DAV Education Committee President Dalbir Singh and the bench consists of Balendu Datta, BD Sharma and RP Dwivedi. On this occasion whole teaching staff including Principal Salini Saxena were present.
