Sharma reviews preparations for Gajrath Mahotsava

Bhopal, Jan 12: Public Relations, Culture and Mineral Resources Minister and minister incharge of Raisen district Laxmikant Sharma reviewed the preparations for Gajrath Mahotsava to be held in Begamganj town in Raisen district.

Laxmikant Sharma said that the preparations from the government side would be completed on time for Jin Bimb Pratishthha Evam Panch Gajrath Mahotsava to be held at Begamganj from January 20 to 27. Sharma visited the spot and issued necessary instructions to accompanying official to ensure adequate drinking water facility and other basic amenities.

Panch Gajrath Mahotsava Organising Committee president Padam Jain said that Jin Pratishthha and Panch Gajrath Mahotsava Vishwa Shanti Mahayagya would be organised in the presence of Acharya Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj.

Those present on the occasion included collector Sandeep Yadav, superintendent of police KC Jain, Nagar Palika president Shikhar Chand Jain and members of the organising committee.

The minister incharge of Raisen district Laxmikant Sharma also heard the problems of rural people at Begamganj. On the demand made by the people, Shri Sharma instructed the Chief Executive Officer of Begamganj Janpad Panchayat to construct new water tanks in village Murkheda Gulab and Bansadehi.
