MVM sports meet gets under way

Bhopal, Jan 10: Maharishi Vidya Mandir (MVM) in the series of Annual Function, which is celebrated as Gyan Yug Diwas conducted its annual sports meet on Thursday. On the occasion, MS Solanki, Director Education and Training, MVM, RK Pathak, Principal of Rajiv Gandhi and other respected guests and parents were also present.

The programme was started by flag hoisting by the chief guest Anant Kumar (IPS) officer AJP, Police Head Quarter followed by National Anthem and cultural activities. Principal Dr SN Rai in his address inspired the participants and made every one feel proud of having oneness in the hearts of students. He said such events are the platform where all can show their talent irrespective of cast or creed. He told every one that the school always provides facilities to the students for the development of their talents.

Anant Kumar felt very fortunate being among the students. He said that every body has energy himself and he can do things if he pleases, so the students should use the energy for their physically as well as mentally development and should develop for the nation. The students of Narayan, Vashisth, Vyas and Maharishi houses participated in inter house competitions as 100-meter, 200-meter, 400-meter race, 4X100 meter Relay Race, Shot-put, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho and put their best efforts to win positions.

The vote of thanks was proposed by Urmila Yadav and programme was anchored by Sonam, Tushar (students) and teachers Sachin Thakur and Dr Megha Shrivastava.
