"Jane Kyun larkia larko si nahi hoti". If you remember this song from the film "Hum Tum" you will notice that though both the actors are different from each other yet they share one commonness and that is the way they hang their bags. And this style is gaining popularity among the boys and girls. Yes, we are talking about the side bag style of Saif and Rani. Saif also copied this style in "Salaam Namaste". The style of any film remains in fashion till the film runs but side bags are still a fashion symbol for the college goers. Along with the role played by Saif and Rani the easiness of carrying the bags helps a lot to increase its popularity for which even after four years the bags are capable of running the magic. The bags are a common among the office goers too.
Anks, a side bag lover says that side bags were a fashion since a long time but now it is considered an old fashion. "Hum Tum" and "salaam namaste" has brought the fashion back.
Another side bag lover Anurag Tiwari says that there are dual advantages of the bag one is that the bags give modern look and the other is that they are comfortable because in these bags the weight is on both sides which is less tiresome to the body. According to Namita Kishori girls first hesitated to accept the style but after Preiti and Rani this has become a fashion among the girls too. "Even I used to dislike the bags but now it has become my style". The bags look good both on western and modern dress. According to sane every body uses side bags. Earlier only college bags were one sided but now every bag is one sided. Arvind thinks that side bags are very famous which is a matter of craze for both the boys and girls. "The style is famous among all our friends. when all the friends are in group we use the same style of bag and the bags are famous amongus due to films"
