Jawaharlal Nehru Cancer Hospital and Research Centre is going to organise a National CME programme on Head and Neck, Nuclear Medicines on January 12 on the occasion of the 13th anniversary of the hospital. The CME programme would be organised at Hotel Nisarga, Maharana Pratap Nagar on January 12 at 8.30 pm.
Professor, Department of Nuclear Medicine, All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS), New Delhi Dr CS Bal, Dr Govind Babu, Medical Oncologist, Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, Bangalore and Dr AK D'Cruz, HOD, Head & Neck Surgical Division, Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai will the chief speakers of the programme.
Dr Bal would deliver lectured on the "Role of Nuclear Medicine in Clinical Practice", Dr Babu would enlighten the audience on the role of chemotherapy in Head & Neck cancers. Dr D'Cruz will present an overall view on Head & Neck cancers. The hospital has cancelled the cultural programme, which was scheduled to be held on January 13 due to death of Neha Crozier, a research student. She died in a road mishap.
