It is said that if the secretions of a person's glands were upset, it would change the moral character of the person. The states of mind and emotion, according to doctors upset the secretion of glands...Bitterness, anger, jealousy...in fact every unchristian attitude leads to their malfunctioning. Dr William Sadler, famous psychiatrist has pronounced judgment after looking for years into the minds, souls and bodies of disrupted people: "If humanity lived in a truly Christian way, half the diseases of humanity would drop off tomorrow morning and we would stand up a new healthy humanity." Only recently, Dr. Abhishek Manu Singhvi, Member, Rajya Sabha, eminent jurist and the Spokesperson of the Congress party has said conclusively in an interview to the 'Inspire Magazine' that "he want to live a truly Christian life i.e. loving God and helping humanity"

In the struggle for survival on this planet, the Christian way is turning out to be the best way of happy, useful and contributive survival. It works to the degree that we work it. The marks of Jesus are written in our nerves, our blood, and our tissues and in every organ, especially the stomach. Every organ is saying this: ""Thou shalt love or I can't function."

An ancient papyrus has written on it a supposed saying of Jesus: "Cleave the wood and thou shalt find me; raise the stone and I am there." The modern version would be: "Cleave the tissues with your scalpel and thou shalt find me; raise the question of the purpose of every organ and the organization of the whole and I am there."

Dr McLaughlin of the Woman's College, Philadelphia says" From 60 to 85 percent of all disease of the body are rooted in the mental and spiritual; 99 per cent of all headaches; 75 per cent of gastric troubles, 75 per cent of asthma and skin diseases." Heart specialists say that 85 per cent of all heart ailments are not structural but mental and spiritual. Patients are upsetting their hearts with their wrong mental and spiritual attitudes. The conclusion: Every mental, moral and spiritual attitude that upsets the health and rhythm of the body is unchristian. Call the roll of the emotions, the thinking and the attitudes and the actions that produce personality upset and disrupted living and what is the list? Fear , resentment, guilt, self preoccupation, a sense of inferiority, refusal to accept responsibility, dishonesty, quarrelsomeness, negativism, pessimism, hopelessness, retreat from life, refusal to cooperate, sex impurity, anger, jealousy, envy, pride, mammon, criticism, backbiting, hate, and lack of love.

Now call the roll of the emotions, the thinking, the attitudes that produce harmonious, adjusted, created personality, and what do you have? Love, appreciation of others, service, acceptance of responsibility, willingness to cooperate, sex purity, forgiveness from God and forgiveness to man, good will to all classes and races, outgoingness, honesty, the absence of inferiority or superiority, optimism, hope, faith.

God heals sick people in many ways. First, through physicians and then surgeons. They do not heal; they simply clear away obstructions to allow nature or God to heal. There are healing forces within the body which needs to be brought into operation. This is divine healing. The doctors treat but the healing comes from God.

Secondly God heals through mental suggestion-all of us can create a climate of disease or health around us by our thinking. Third, healing comes about when people surrender their fears, resentments, self-preoccupation, guilt which produce disease. Fourth, through the direct touch of the Godly spirit upon our body. Fifth, he heals through the final cure in the resurrection when we get our immortal, imperishable and glorified bodies.
