Malaysia has told India not to meddle in its internal affairs after New Delhi expressed concerns over the treatment of ethnic Indians in Muslim-majority Malaysia.
 
India to lift ban on rice export to cyclone-hit Bangladesh 

Dhaka, Dec 1:
Sharing the grief of cyclone-hit Bangladesh, India today decided to lift a ban on export of rice up to 5.5 lakh tonnes to the neighbouring country and proposed to adopt its 10 worst affected villages as part of overall assistance package.
 
India supports UN resolution on Palestine  

New York, Dec 1:
India has supported the UN resolution endorsing the Middle East peace conference in the US city of Annapolis in Maryland earlier this week.
 
Wives' careers still seen as secondary to husbands'  

Washington, Dec 1:
A sociological research has revealed that if a couple moves, it is inevitably the wife's career that suffers, while the hubby enjoys a career boost. The research was led by Mary Noonan, associate professor of sociology, University of Iowa College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
