Betray in Karnataka

Only people are sufferer of unholy political games usually played by regional party-bosses like supreme betrayer HD Devegowda to destabilize alliance-governments for personal selfish interests. What next in Karnataka? Either some other unstable combination or fresh elections! Then what? Again a hung assembly, and then some opportunist alliance made at mercy of regional party (here JDS) with a blackmailing revolver aimed at a national party BJP or Congress. Karnatak Governor should experiment a modified version of a formula once adopted in UP assembly after repeat of mid-term elections with no party or alliance giving state a real stable government for five complete years. Chief Minister should now be elected by secret and compulsory votes of all MLAs through EVMs on nominations signed by at least one-third members with same system repeated for no-confidence motions but with compulsion to name alternate leader in the same motion. If this experiment fits in Karnatak, same should be adopted permanently for all states and the Centre.
