Vigilance awareness week concludes

Bhopal, Nov 20: The concluding and prize distribution function of Vigilance Awareness Week at BHEL was held the other day. The function was attended by large number of employees, school children, teachers and parents. Addressing the gathering, chief guest MC Prasad, GM (HR) called upon all employees to spread the message of Vigilance in Society. He asked employees to eradicate corruption from all walks of life and not even associate with corruption. He expressed happiness over the large number of girls amongst the winners and said this would help in spreading honesty, as girls are backbone of family & society.

He called upon all employees and members of Society including School Children to follow the path of honesty and to eradicate the evil / menace of corruption from the society. AK Bhatt, DGM (Vig) welcomed the guests and threw light on the importance of Vigilance Awareness Week.

During the week many competitions were held for the employees and school children. The Jury Members of the various competitions included D Sen, AGM(IFX) Dr Sarla Menon, AGM (Head NS) SK Sinha, Commandant/ CISF, AK Shukla, AGM (Foundry) and VS Gupta, AGM (PMG).

GD Agrawal won first prize and Ram Kishor Tripathi won second prize in Slogan Competition in Employee Category. Arun Hemrom, TU Singh, Ms Anita Masih, HR Chavhan and LS Raghuwanshi of Vigilance Deptt organized the function all during the week.

UTUC holds gate meeting

Bhopal, Nov 20: A gate meeting has been organised on Tuesday at Foundry Gate BHEL at 4pm to make state level conference successful which is going to be held on November 22 at 11am at Bhopal Cultural Hall, Banganga under the auspices of Sponsoring Committee Madhya Pradesh.

UTUC Lanin Sarni All India Council Member, JC Barai addressing the gate meeting said that economical and industrial policy which was started in 1991 its results are now before you. You have never thought that BHEL like biggest factory would be changed into an ancillary like Govindpura factories. Blocks in sections and contract work in blocks is seen everywhere.
