Underworld don Abu Salem, alias Abdul Saleem Ansari boarded the train to Mumbai on Tuesday evening. Abu was in the City since past one week in police custody for his alleged involvement in a fake passport case. Central Chronicle brings you the glimpses straight from the Court premises.
A crowd of curious onlookers, newspersons and cameramen were waiting outside the jail since Tuesday morning.
They were to have a glance of underworld don Abu Salem, alias Abdul Saleem Ansari who was weeklong police custody in his involvement in a fake passport case.
Clean-shaven Abu came to Court premises under heavy police security. He was wearing blue jeans, maroon half shirt, leather shoes and one cap. After his hearing, Abu was surrounded by equal number of news camerapersons and news persons then police personals.
Surrounded by police personals when Abu came out of the District Court premises, questions from all directions was thrown on him.
A beaming Abu smiled to the queries and walked to the waiting police van.
The newspersons chased him and pondered questions till he entered the waiting van.
But he couldn't resist to one question and gave a befitting reply.
Abu bhai kya aapka Mumbai bomb blast mein haath hai aur kya aap desh drohi ho quizzed one of the journalist?
Abu promptly came near to the beaming cameras which were capturing his movements from the grilled window of the police van and said, Yeah Saab Bakwas Hai, Saab kuch Saaf Ho jayega.
Inshallah mein Bhopal phir aa unga, he told from the grilled windows. It was for the first time when Abu replied a question in Bhopal.
Abu was brought to Bhopal on November 13 from the same Punjab Mail train through which he left today. The train arrived half an hour late. Abu entered one general compartment, which was surrounded by police personnel.
