Akanksha Jachak belongs to Indore who sang enchanting song Kuhu, Kuhu Bole Koyaliya and attracted the audience gallery. She was giving her presentation in Marathi Utsava at Old Campion ground. Marathi community participated in this programme with interest and enthusiasm.
Main attraction of this programme, were different dishes. You would find here Pooranpoli, Vada Pav, Appe Chatni, Misal Pav, Bhakar Kari, Jhunka Bhakar Dhancha, Chalipeeth etc.
Akanksha Jachak sang a song of film Asha , Sheesha Ho Ya Dil Ho which people liked most.
Marathi songs become necessary in Marathi Utsav and Akanksha sang Marathi Lavni, Vitthal Krishna Kamlani.
In this Marathi Utsav talented students of the community were felicitated. Akanksha Jachak was also felicitated who had sung up to 61hours continuously and registered her name in Guineas Book of World Record.
Darshana Bakde, awardee of Vikram Award in Kho-Kho game and musician, Ram Marathe of Gwalior bothe were felicitated in the programme.
Along with Marathi community members, other citizens are also participating in this programme with keen interest.
Semi commercial and handicraft stalls have also been included here along with Marathi dishes.
The organisers have kept in view about the choice of viewers. On the demand of viewers, Akanksha Jachak sang Is Dil Me Kya Rakkha Hai and pleased them. Later the audience demanded to listen their favourite songs. The audience also liked to listen old songs in the programme.
