An interim stay preventing Reliance Industries (RIL) from selling natural gas to a third party cast a shadow on the stock market, which today ended 144 points lower amid the government's decision to relax excise duty on cement.

Ottawa, May 4:
The Royal Canadian Mint has unveiled the world's first 100-kilogram pure gold bullion coin worth one million Canadian dollars (850,000 US), breaking a record for value.
 
Centre to invest Rs 8,000 cr in plantation 

New Delhi, May 4:
The Centre will be investing Rs 8,000 crore over a 10-year period in the plantation sector in Kerala to enhance productivity of crops like tea, pepper, cardamom, coffee, rubber and coconut.
 
`AEZs fail to meet investment targets' 

Mumbai, May 4:
Maximum of the 60 Agri Export Zones notified by the government have failed to meet the export and investment targets, registering over 50 percent shortfall against the expected numbers, industry body Assocham said.
