A 10-member gang facilitating bail using fake documents was busted by MP Nagar police. The gang was active in the state capital and Jabalpur and the police have recovered fake documents used for facilitating bail.
While talking to media persons here on Thursday, DIG Bhopal Dharmendra Choudhary said that acting on a tip off wanted criminal having a cash reward of Rs 5000 Imran alias Bablu Chikna was nabbed and when he was questioned he confessed of gang working for facilitating bail using fake documents.
From Bablu police have recovered three loan books (bahi) and five stamps of government officials. He provided details of miscreants involved in the crime in Jabalpur.
A 50-year-old woman Safia was nabbed from Jabalpur she used to arrange fake documents and recovered five unused loan books (bahi). Later in the investigation Ashraf alias Babua was nabbed from Jabalpur and recovered 42 different seal stamps of officials of different districts and 28 unused loan books (bahi).
Krishna Kumar Gupta of Jabalpur was arrested in the investigation and photo copies of five main pages and 69 internal pages. He used to provide raw material for producing fake documents. Naki Ansari of Jabalpur was nabbed who used to produce binding and numbering of the loan books (bahi) and provide to Safia.
From his possession 24 pages of main page and 140 pages of internal loan books (bahi) were recovered. Apart from gang active in Jabalpur same gang was active in Bhopal.
Sudhakar Bangde of Kamla Nagar, Bhawani Singh of Gautam Nagar, Syed Masihuddin of Karond, Lallu alias Rajesh Lal of Jehangirabad and Taurn Ghosh of Pansheel Nagar were nabbed from Bhopal.
